I was pleasantly surprised when I first heard this preview on 9tensu, long after C89 was over. AVTechNO! is a doujin circle that I’ve never heard of before, but it seems have been around for a while. Vocaloid fans will probably be more aware of his works than touhou fans, as he only makes vocaloid music. He specializes in techno and electronic music as his name implies, but his works vary a bit in style.
PULSE is an EP consisting of two songs voiced by Hatsune Miku, an instrumental track, and instrumental versions of the Miku songs. It’s the first vocaloid album that I’ll be reviewing here! Read on for the full review.
[CROW’SCLAW] – Angel’s Wings
Genre – Alternative Metal/Vocal, Original

It’s about damn time, Taka! He’s finally gracing us with a full vocal album 1.5 years after his last one,Caramel Crunch. This time around, we only have Show Ikeda and Futoumeido on vocals. It’s a shame that there’s no Mei Ayakura or Nachi, but i’m not going to complain since I’m happy with the two other returning vocalists.
The crossfade sounded very good to my ears, and is a great indication that the album will turn out fantastic. Like Sepia Recollections, this is an original alternative metal album with vocals.

Months and 7 reviews later, here’s my Comiket 89 recap! I think I’ve listened to more albums this comiket than any other before. That being said though, there weren’t a significant amount of albums that I ended up liking. However, there were a couple of albums that really stood out to me this Comiket.

Merry Christmas everyone!
School is finally over for the semester, and that means another Comiket! But first of all… apologies for the lack of posts recently. Its been my hardest school semester yet, but at the same time the most rewarding. I’ve been keeping up with watching the Grisaia episodes of course, but I haven’t had the time to write about any of them since episode 3. The season is nearly over, so I’ll recap with my impressions of season 1 overall sometime later.
KanColle has grown immensely in popularity over the past year and as a result, many doujin groups have started to make arrangements based on KanColle themes. I haven’t heard that many, but foxfactory’s FlagshipS was fairly promising so I’m looking forward to hearing of KanColle. However, I don’t think I’ll get the same connection with the music just because I’m not familiar with either the original themes or the characters of the game. In that sense, I’ll stick with the Touhou albums for the most part.
Anyways, lets see what exciting new albums there are!
